Have you guys heard of Epic Table??

In my never ending quest to find a way to game online that I can handle both mentally and economically, I present Epic Table...

I found this a few weeks ago but because of the move I wasn't able to delve into it much. Now that things are settling in here I'm giving it a look and I'm really impressed with what I see so far.

I'm tinkering with it and created this:
"Our three intrepid adventurer's soon there is more than just an old plane wreckage in this deadly swamp."

If any of you out there are experienced with Epic Table drop me a line. I would love to test this out. I'm wondering how it works with G+Hangout??

  1. Thanks for the post about EpicTable.
The swamp map you're using looks awesome. Is that from a module or did you do that?

Re: G+ Hangout, my groups have used G+ Hangout, Skype, TeamSpeak, Ventrilo. I'm not sure I have a favorite. The most compelling argument that I've heard for TeamSpeak and Ventrilo is that you can setup a "room" and people can come and go. I found the quality of G+ to be really good, but actually getting into a hangout unintuitive. Skype works well for me because I know all my players and just setup a group to call. I'll acknowledge though, that I like the room metaphor better. Best of luck with EpicTable, and if you need some help, I'm more than passing familiar with it. ;)

  2. Thanks John,
The swamp map was from a free sample that came with my RPGNow newsletter. It's also on the Lord Zsezse website
